## How we protect your personal information

We have implemented the following measures to protect and safeguard your personal information:

- Using SSL encryption or other secure technologies when receiving or sending personal information beyond internal networks

- Encrypting laptops, USBs and other portable media
- Maintaining up-to-date software and safeguards

## Cookies

This Application uses one first-party cookie. We do not set third-party advertising cookies, and we do not participate in cross-site tracking.

The cookie is named `md_attr`. It records the marketing campaign you arrived from, including UTM parameters and, where applicable, the Reddit click identifier `rdt_cid`, so that if you later create an account we can attribute the signup to the campaign that brought you to us.

The cookie is retained for 30 days from your most recent visit, after which it expires automatically.

The cookie is first-party and host-only on `mapledeploy.ca`. It is intentionally not scoped to the broader `.mapledeploy.ca` domain, so it is not sent to the customer dashboard at `app.mapledeploy.ca`, and it is not sent to any customer-operated Coolify instance running on a `mapledeploy.ca` subdomain.

You can delete this cookie at any time through your browser's cookie settings, or you can wait for it to expire automatically. Clearing it does not affect your ability to use the Application.

The `md_attr` cookie is only written when you arrive at our website from a link that contains advertising attribution parameters, for example a paid ad. If you arrive at our website directly or from an organic search result, no cookie is written.

## Children's privacy

This Application is intended for use by a general audience and does not offer services to children. Should a child whom we know to be under 18 send personal information to us, we will use that information only to respond to that child to inform them that they cannot use this Application.

## Analytics programs

This Application uses the following analytics program(s) to collect information about you and your behaviors: self-hosted Umami. To learn how to opt-out, please visit the website(s) of the analytics program(s) listed.

When you create an account after arriving at our website from a Reddit advertisement, and only if you have explicitly opted in to advertising measurement on the signup form, we share a limited set of information with Reddit Inc. ("Reddit") through Reddit's Conversions API for the sole purpose of measuring the performance of our advertising campaigns.

**Recipient.** Reddit Inc., 303 2nd Street, South Tower, 6th Floor, San Francisco, CA 94107, United States.

**Information shared.** When you opt in, we transmit the following to Reddit at the time you sign up, and again if you later complete a paid purchase: your email address, hashed using SHA-256 after lowercasing and trimming (we do not transmit your email address in plain text); the Reddit click identifier (`rdt_cid`) that Reddit appended to the advertisement link you clicked; the type of event (account signup, or paid purchase); and for purchase events only, the order amount in Canadian dollars and the order currency code. We do not share your name, billing address, IP address, password, or any other field with Reddit.

**Legal basis.** Your explicit, opt-in consent, given through a checkbox on the signup form. The checkbox is unchecked by default. If you do not check the box, no information is ever transmitted to Reddit, even if you arrived from a Reddit advertisement. We record both the date you gave consent and the version of the consent text you saw, so we can demonstrate what you agreed to.

**Withdrawing consent.** You may withdraw your consent at any time by emailing hello@mapledeploy.ca. On request, we will delete the Reddit click identifier associated with your account so that no further events can be sent.

**Retention.** We automatically delete the Reddit click identifier and the original landing-page path from your account 90 days after signup, regardless of whether you withdraw consent earlier. After 90 days, no further events can be transmitted to Reddit for your account because the click identifier no longer exists in our systems. Aggregate campaign-level identifiers, such as the campaign name, are retained longer for our internal reporting but cannot be linked back to you individually.

**Reddit's use of the information.** Reddit uses the information we send to match conversions to advertising impressions in its own systems and to report aggregate campaign performance to us. Reddit's handling of this information is governed by its own privacy policy, available at https://www.reddit.com/policies/privacy-policy.

Depending upon where you reside, you may have the following rights with regard to your personal information:
